Health insurance policy

The United States has very different health care system for its citizens that most every other country in the world. In the U.S. there are no universal government programs that will offset the cost of health care for most of its citizens. Under this type of system, medical care is available for anyone if they can afford it. You can never be turned down for medical care if it is life threatening. Wealthy people enjoy some of the finest health care in the world, but for most of the rest of the population there is no health insurance to help them stay healthy.
Health insurance is seen by many to have way too much red tape, better known as hassles and for the most part they are not wrong. Not only it is expensive, but then if you have a claim or need a specific treatment, there could be legal issues to pay for because of benefits or treatments being denied or deemed unnecessary. Being at the mercy of a well oiled health services machine that is made up mostly of care professionals and insurance companies who it seems is making up the rules to benefit they over everyone else using the system. It is almost like we have no choice but to accept blindly what we have been handed. Is it true that we can never survive without health insurance or the minimal catastrophic coverage if cancer comes calling or our heart needs open surgery?
Yes, as sad as it is everyone in the United States needs to pay for their own health insurance and this is actually in the process of becoming a political mandate. The government is now going to force everyone to carry health insurance and through this process we will all be covered and paying through the nose. Of course, it is important to note that while it may be expensive to pay those health insurance premiums in the end.
Ultimately major illness strikes many each and every day and as a result it is important to make sure that you stay covered just in case someone in your family is struck with cancer or heart disease. These two illnesses cost the big bucks and can cause financial ruin for those who are not covered by a health insurance policy.
Catastrophic health insurance is just one plan that you can buy.
